Irene Interviews Norm and Pete

In this photograph, Norm and Pete are holding copies of Muscle Digest magazine. I am holding a copy of the textbook Norm had just written, A New World of Health, published by McGraw Hill in 1977.

Pete went on to achieve international success as a businessman. He is the Founder, Chairman of the Board, and Chief Executive Officer of CheckFree Corporation, a provider of financial electronic commerce services and products. Read about Pete at http://ir.checkfreecorp.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=94799&p=irol-govBio&ID=124570

Sadly, Norm, a health professor at Bakersfield College, died in 2001 as the result of a car/bicycle accident while he was training for the US Masters National Cycling Championships. You may read about Norm at http://andynoise.com/blog/2006/12/27/norm-hoffman/
