Irene L. Hause interviews Norm Hoffman and Pete Kight

In this photograph, Norm Hoffman and Pete Kight are holding copies of Muscle Digest magazine. I am holding a copy of the textbook Norm had just written, A New World of Health, published by McGraw Hill in 1977.

Pete Kight went on to achieve phenomenal success as a pioneer in the electronic commerce industry. Recently, he has expanded his business interests to wineries. Read about Pete at http://au.sys-con.com:80/node/830671 (beginning at the fifth paragraph of the article); at http://www.examiner.com/x-747-Wine-Examiner; and at http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9E05E6D91238F935A25752C1A9659C8B63 .

Sadly, Norm Hoffman, a health professor at Bakersfield College, died in 2001 as the result of a car/bicycle accident while he was training for the US Masters National Cycling Championships. You may read about Norm at http://andynoise.com/blog/2006/12/27/norm-hoffman/
